United: 50k / 50k (seperate accts)
UR Pts: 220k
AA: 280k
US: 80k / 40k (seperate accts)

Would love to hear your suggestions for changes, and thoughts on using an award booking service here!

This sounds like a great itinerary! I think you can do one better by hopping from country to country. After you get to CDG from MLE, use avios to short hop one way from CDG-LHR or CDG-Rome with Avios. After this, United allows open jaws so you can easily make it MLE-CDG then on march 14th, you can leave ROME-PHL or LONDON-PHL or VENICE-PHL or FRANKFURT-PHL. Also, if you dont want to use avios, the eurorail is actually pretty amazing!

Yep, I know how to cut my lawn, paint the house or wash a car but darn it, if someone can do it for a reasonable fee, I would sooner spend my time in a movie or FT !

Carry on, Tashir. I have looked at booking a comples intl. trip in J or F, darn if I can get all the details down pat. I would sooner pay your or someone like you and enjoy my trip , not to speak of playing a big guy to me wife !!!!:p

Thought I'd come back and let everyone know what I ended up booking, after many changes of mindset.

Total Cost (2 ppl):
UA: 220,000
AA: 60,000
Hyatt: (4 certs + 132,000pts = 10 Nights)
Booking Fees & Taxes: ~$400
Change Fees: $150

Schedule (Early March, all in Biz):
IAD-IST-MLE on TKK
6 nights at Park Hyatt Hadahaa
MLE-AUH-CDG on EY
4 nights at Park Hyatt Vendome
CDG-PHL on US

The schedule of starting at IAD and ending in PHL is ideal for us. The AA segment is on EY, all others are using UA miles. I managed to book a UA award with a stopover and 2 open jaws, which took many phone calls.

The only additional tweak I'd make is having the EY segment in F vs J, but judging by UA's availability of F on other days it seems unlikely. I'll keep calling in though :D
