help getting points/miles
I want to pay off the balance on an auto loan using a credit card. The bank accepts CC (visa,mc,discover only) but it comes across as a cash advance (found this out because it was declined, called CC and they told me cash advance limit is 1k per day).
What other option can I use to pay this off....$5,600 I have Citi AA and Amex gold reward and would prefer to use the Amex. |
5 days @ $1k ea & 1 @ $600?....maybe have a $6k credit balance to start?

Giftcards.com or simonmalls VISAs purchased with your cc? Carefully look at the profit margin and at rebate sites that might be able to reduce the hit.:p

If you find a way I'll be watching. I owe $5700. and can pay it off any time. I was just going to write a check this month, because I'm not aware off any way to pay with a CC and get milage? Good luck

will the bank take the gift cards?....if so, go for it?
above, i was talking about how to do the cc payment by using the max each day & hoping to avoid paying any balance interest, only the cash advance costs.....i wasn't advocating it? |
