Hey All,

So I'm moving to Dallas from Europe and my new role takes me to long-haul destinations like Dublin twice a month and short-haul (any city you can think of)... Living in Dallas allows me to maximize AA's Hub but I remember reading here once that there are some other FFP that you earn elite status on faster even if you fly on AA...

I want to get it right the first-time, so for a frequent traveller new to the US, can you give me some pointers for Mileage, Hotel and Credit Card points?

you should be able to complete a gold/plt challenge quickly....

Hrm... for elite status itself I don't recall any other airlines in OW that'll make better use of your AA miles.

In *A, you can accrue miles to Asiana which has much more liberal elite status qualification requirements, but I don't believe there's an equivalent in OW.

If you're going to be in Dallas and flying AA metal, I think it'd be better for you earn status in AA's actual program anyway. Do the PLT challenge so you can start earning double RDMs and get some status faster. And with two flights a month to Dublin every month, you'll get EXP pretty quickly anyway.
