Hello everyone,

So I have many miles accrued from applying for various credit cards and I'm looking for the best way to redeem them for flights them using the least miles possible (i.e. flying economy, off season, etc). I would like to take a trip to Asia (from California). The miles/points I have are spread out in the following:

-American Express membership rewards
-Chase ultimate rewards points
-American Airlines miles
-United/Continental miles

Just at first glance, it seems like American Airlines has the best deal (only 50k to go to Japan, where the others seem to be 65k). But I was wondering if anyone has any advice for use of the chase and amex points and which how to get the best bang for the buck. Thanks!!
----
Sorry, here are the specific miles I have:

-American Express membership rewards - 75k
-Chase ultimate rewards points - 50k
-American Airlines miles - 150k
-United/Continental miles - 60k

You don't mention how many miles you have in those programs. If you have the AA miles and seats are available, great. If seats are available and you don't have enough AA miles, you have the option of transferring AMEX points into British Airways miles. Using them on a partner airline to Asia in Coach would cost the same 50,000 but this number is expected to increase mid-November.

But again, you'll have more specific answers if you include more information.

You might check out awardwallet.com, which has a super useful tool called "distance pricer" that can help you maximize points.

Welcome to flyertalk!

You have enough miles that you could really make use of an AA oneworld distance based award with multiple stopovers.

Here's AA's all partner award chart: http://www.aa.com/i18n/disclaimers/a...rtnerChart.jsp

Here's AA's distance based oneworld award chart: http://www.aa.com/i18n/disclaimers/oneworld_awards.jsp

You can also check out the helpful flyertalk threads on both in the American Airlines forum

That should read awardnexus.com rather than awardwallet.

-Chase ultimate rewards points - 50k
-United/Continental miles - 60k

Note that the Ultimate Rewards points can be moved to either your United or your Continental account. 110,000 miles will get you a nice business class seat to many places in the world.

There are also people that will just book the seats for you for a fee (using your points) since you don't seem too interested in learning about things yourself, I see it advertised in many users signatures, and costs ~$100
