Earning clickmiles through PlanetRx

Through July 31st, for every person you refer to PlanetRx that places an order, you earn 2 'PlanetRx' credits. They currently have a deal right now -- 3 products for free (for just the cost of shipping). Each 'PlanetRx' credit can be transferred to clickrewards as 150 miles (so every person you refer gives you 300 miles). Through July 12th, midnight PST, clickrewards will double your miles when you transfer your miles to one of the participating airlines.

Here's what you do...

1. Open a clickrewards account. Go to http://www.clickrewards.com for this.

2. Go to PlanetRx's specials page (use this link please!): http://www.planetrx.com/3forfree/3fo...YOOEkA5C4no%3D

Pick out the 3 *free* products you want. Place the order and pay the shipping.

You'll get a confirmation for joining PlanetRx and a URL to give out so you can get referral points (like mine above). Send out the URL to your friends and earn points. Then transfer the points to clickrewards to get your miles.

BTW--I logged in to PlanetRx and filled out the form to transfer my points to clickrewards miles. The miles were in my clickrewards account within 10 minutes! Then, you transfer the clickrewards miles to your ff account.

I'm sure y'all know, but...
Clickrewards will only double up to the first 10,000 miles (so you'll get 20,000 when you transfer them). Anything transferred after the 10,000 mile limit is transferred at a 1:1 ratio. Valid through July 12th.

Ok, so I'll pay $3.95 so that you can get 300 miles. Where is the rest of my easy 20,000 miles?

Once you place your order, they'll send you your link.
Then you pass on your link to others and get 300 miles for every person that makes a purchase.
If they don't automatically send your link, send a mail to [email protected].

So, if you get 34 people to buy something before 7/12/99, you'll get:
34 people x 300 miles/person x 2 (clickrewards double promotion) = 20200 miles

This is a pretty good deal, because PlanetRx has a deal right now that you get 3 products for the cost of shipping ($3.95) using the link above.

Thanks very much but I'm a little busy and it is the Fourth of July weekend! I wish they had these promo's when I was a student!

I'm a pretty pathetic salesman. I doubt if I could sell this to one person.

ontherun Jul 3, 1999 4:27 pm

Just send your friends and family the link (after you've signed up and received your own link) with the hook of three free items and I think you'll be presently surprised at your salesmanship.

MileKing Jul 3, 1999 9:59 pm

jmc, in the future, will you please refrain from posting the same item in multiple threads! I've found this PlanetRX post in almost every airline thread! Posting once in the BUZZ is sufficient. Thank you - from the FlyerTalk police.

The 3 things for free deal is only for US residents.

I feel soooooo discriminated against.

cheers Peter

Pberrett- at least you will not be in the mode of pestering all of your friends to go thru this ponzzi scheme.

FYI - Just received a reply to my email about the "refer a friend" program. Apparently, due to overwhelming demand they are no long offering the link or the 3 free items. If you've sent the link to people you will still receive the bonuses but no new links are being sent out.

hey! we have been punished enough during this hard winter in Switzerland with snowballs becoming avalanges - don't start them, they are hard to stop and do a lot of harm on their way down.
