Full-Fare 2x miles to be matched?

Now that USAir will be giving double miles for first, business or full-fare tickets until the end of August, will other airlines match? After 1 full business day, I am surprised no airline has matched it yet, especially given the airlines' thirst for revenues now considering industry overcapacity.

I don't know the exact dates of US Airways offer, but DL announced a 70% offer (for the 70th Anniversary) well before US Airways ...

On yesterday's USA Today, I saw NW's ad for Full-Fare double miles promotion but I don't have the promotion code.

I wonder UA is going to match?

This is a pattern of late. United puts in a double-mile bonus at Dulles--USAir calls it and raises them DCA and BWI. Delta offers 170% on full-coach and up--US goes to 200%.

Don't you just love competition!

American has the offer but you have to call them at 1-800-882-8880, press1, 2*, 4* The code is DBMLS. But what constitutes a full fare. Bought tickets and two companion tickets from chicago to palm springs. Does anyone know if only the first ticket will get miles, or not even that because it was "on sale"
