Record keeping spreadsheet

Guys

It's gotten to the point that I need to start maintaining systematic records of all my cards, mileage accured, etc. I could use some websites but honestly these websites come and go and don't feel like I need any online tool

I think a good spreadsheet would help and before starting, I wanted to see if anybody else has created one and could share. Any links would help too

Don't think I need to re-invent the wheel here

Thanks guys!

I have spreadsheet

I have a great spreadsheet that lets me keep track of any and all details surrounding each card. I save it in google docs and can the view/edit it any where I have web access.

PM me for a copy. Or is there a way to post/store a file to this forum and then provide a link to that location?

I use a pretty simple spreadsheet with columns for Company (i.e. - Citi), type (i.e. - Visa), annual fee, opened, cancel by, spend amount, how many month, etc. I have different worksheets for my partner and for me, also another with misc points that I pick up here and there and are supposed to post (but probably never will :) ). It would be interesting to see how others track the info.

I've got a generic excel version of the one I use at the bottom of this page of my woefully outdated website:

https://sites.google.com/site/always...etting-started

I keep three spreadsheets in one doc:

1. Points and Miles - current balances, plus anticipated incoming points and the dates I expect them to show up. This is a little cumbersome, but it works for me.

2. Credit cards - all the pertinent info for current and closed accounts

3. Application history - what I applied for and when along with offer details, links, etc. I also update credit pulls here when I get that info.

I use a spreadsheet stored on Dropbox. Easy access from any pc or smartphone. Here are my column headers: Program, ID#, PW, Phone, Pt Bal, Need, Verified Dt, Next Award, Expire, Notes (exp is after last activity unless otherwise). I color code the rows for hotels, car rental, airlines. The "Expire" column entries turn red if expiring within one year.
