like others have said, the product detail page says 13 miles

the people buying 2 or 3 are out of their minds if you think you will get 250k miles HAHAHAH

Another plus with AMEX. Return protection / purchase protection. I bought one and will fight for them.

As did I!

I don't have the confidence to purchase 100 of them though...

I also took the chance and jumped on 3 pairs (also on Amex haha). For that many points the potential reward is too great. I'd kick myself if I let this go and found out they honored it. Risk of $35 for a potential return if it doesn't work out is well worth it.

It should, as that's how it works for everything else!

Return policy is 14 days, can return to the store or box it up and send it back to them.

That's what people say who miss the boat on "fat finger" airfare (i.e. $270 F-Class JFK-LHR).

If you're not willing to take the risk, that's fine -- but don't gripe if we get the miles and you don't.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return your merchandise for a refund. A $35 restocking fee ($70 for netbooks and tablets) will apply (excluding Hawaii).

First, thanks to the OP for posting this.

We can agree or disagree whether it will work, but lets face it, many of us are on FT looking for ways to maximize our cash to miles. Just as this deal does, most things in life carry some risk; if this isn't worth the risk to you, then grab yourself a hot dog and beer and watch the game unfold from the comfort and safety of the bleachers. =)

i bought one..i'd try a local Verizon store to return it to, as long as you don't open the box if you don't get the miles. I have a Verizon Fios store pretty close to me, so we'll see what happens.

Anybody else have the price go down to about $135 for three at checkout? Pretty sweet deal, with really little risk when purchasing with AmEx.
