last day to apply for AMEX PRG for bump
 

Take it for what it is but I saw on dansdeal.com board that someone called AMEX and asked about promo code. According to him, you need to apply for the Premier Rewards Gold card by August 1, 2011 to be able to use the 75k bonus code which is 5894 or 5985.

I applied and was approved online for this card yesterday. Had to call several times and was transferred for expedited card to arrive this Wednesday.

There is no website for dansdeal.com

Is the deadline that you have to have applied by Aug 1st, or have already requested the code be added? I guess I'll be the test case; I applied and was approved July 29 and won't get the card until Wed at the earliest (if I have them expedite).

I am almost in the same situation as you. I applied and was approved on July 30, 2011 online. I asked to have it expedited and will be sent to me on Wednesday. I have read your best chance is to call membership award 800-297-3276

I just tried calling but their office is closed.
After logging in the offer they gave me was:

$175 is waived
15,000 points with $30,000 spend

May go ahead and apply and try to add the bonus code later.

so even if the card arrives on wed, it could have the potential of not be able to get the bump if what you're saying is correct! :(

What about for the BIZ version 75k/100k of the card? Any posts or info about that?

I got this card and the bump in June, and it was painless.
I was hoping to do the BIZ version in a week or two.

multiple bumps
 

From what I saw you can't easily get multiple bonus bumps (diff cards.) - maybe it got too popular? At least for me it only worked once. Any other experiences?

in the specific AMEX Gold pers/biz card threads a LOT of people reported getting the bonus for both. Most of them did them both in the same day or 4-6 weeks apart. I'm looking at getting the biz one soon and I already bumped the personal.

My wife got bumps for both PRG and Platinum. I'm not so lucky. They are saying absolutely NO for the Platinum bump.
