Upping my United Mileage Account

At present, I've got both the United and CO cards. It looks like I may be able to get the Sapphire and get 50,000 CO miles which will eventually transfer to United. Is this pretty trouble-free? Good use of a credit card app? I've got alot of cards presently on my plate. Seems worth it for 50K. Is there any similar tactic to boost AA accounts, getting another type of card and transferring?

This probably belongs in the United forum, but you can painlessly and instantly transfer miles back and forth between UA and CO accounts.

The transfer from UR to CO is painless. All you have to do is fill in name and account number and submit the request. The transfer can take anywhere from immediately to about 5 business days.

Have you checked out this thread on the AA 75K cards? Get an AA Business card?
