Grr, I just got one with similar dates (I think a little later), but the point is mine also says my period of 2x earning started weeks ago.

In my case, I would have used it for another dining program (you can use a CO card in any Rewards Network dining program, since CO doesn't have its own dining program) for the past couple weeks if only I had known. :td:

To those of you who have the offers right now, is your Continental card one of your primary cards or do you only use it sporadically? I'm trying to find out what triggers these offers since I haven't gotten one since right after I signed up for my card. Thanks.

Before receiving this offer my card was used only once for a few bucks then we went on a long trip and left the card home once I verified that this version still carries 3% forex fee. Then the offer came 1/2 way into the promo period!

Use it a few times on dining but totally forgot to enroll it to other airlines / hotels dining programs first. :(

I was targeted for this offer. I had signed up in Feb for the 50K bonus but stopped using the card after I hit the $750 spend requirement. Then 2 months later I received this offer.

I had singed up for the 50K offer in March, but had used it sporadically (for one online outlet, which I used a few times each month for just $ or $$ stuff) since then, just in hopes that would make them think of me better when I go to cancel the card after about 6 months. :)

I already have a different Chase card (the Rewards Plus) which gives me 4+ UA miles/$ on gas/grocery/drug, so getting only 2 CO miles/$ on same is of zero interest to me, but I am going for it on the dining part, linking it to my UA Dining account, where I'm participating in the current promo (that gives me essentially 15 mi/$ from Rewards Network thru June 30, plus now 2 CO mi/$ from the card, and of course CO miles will eventually become UA miles so in essence I'm getting 17 UA mi/$ total on these dines).
