I think so, you get them with the Platinum cards.

I have the Amex SPG and Amex Platinum Cash Rebate. Are they considered "Charge" cards or not?

No. Charge cards are: Zync, Green, Gold, Platinum and Centurion cards which require payment in full each billing cycle. The types you mentioned are credit cards.

I'm not seeing any difference between Zync and Gold, do you know of any?

Thanks. That's what I am after, priority pass. So no-go for me.

What are the odds that there's a fee-waived Platinum card? Less than zero.

Zync participates in Membership Rewards Express, while Green and Gold participate in full Membership Rewards. Express points cannot be transferred to airline or hotel programs. (If you have more than one card, all the points are commingled and all points are classified based on the highest level card.)

Zync has a flexible annual fee based on the number of "packs" added to the card. Packs cannot be added to any other card. Premier Rewards Gold costs $175, and offers bonuses for purchases of airfare, hotels and groceries.plus a 15,000 point bonus for spending $30,000. Premier Rewards Gold also includes five supplementary cards at no extra cost.

You can obtain the same Priority Pass Select membership with this card for only $150 annual fee:

However, if you also want access to AA, DL and US lounges, American Express Platinum is the best solution.

I have tried twice for ameriprise, once via me and once via DH. No go. They think we have too many accounts/inquiries. Credit scores 770+ on all bureau. So I have given up on Ameriprise and am trying to get Priority Pass some other way.

Thanks for the response.

Just received the 25k Gold in the mail. Took a stab at the secure messaging route to go for the 75k. Fingers crossed...

Is the consensus to send a secure message to AMEX in general or to the MR department specifically?
