I called Member Rewards and the person said that she has added a note to my account for the 75k. She said I need to call back after I complete the $500 spend by July 1st and they will manually add the points. I hope she's correct. I would rather have an email reply to reference than a phone call when I call back.

other links were kept getting changed from 25k to 10k on 2nd page
but this link worked like charm (first try i got error, 2nd try I got it to work in secret mode)
I applied for 7 CCs since Feb and have BAD experian score due to that, still got approved.
Prolly this will be my last card for few months until I recover credit.

Applied last week, got the card today, activated, sent a secure message to MR asking for the 75k deal. We'll see what they say, it sounds like it's becoming tougher to get. If not, there is that 50k bonus floating around out there now as well.

I originally received my card last spring. A couple of weeks ago I asked for an extra 65K points under this offer. They obliged. I looked at my account and I noticed the annual fee is now on the account. My first instinct is to spend the points and cancel the card. I feel like I should keep the card since I just received the bonus. Is there another option besides canceling the card and paying the fee? Maybe a lower cost card I can transfer to (while keeping my MR account active)

I got 4 emails in the last 10 days offering 50,000 points after $5k spend by 9/3/11. All had a different RSVP code but same bonus ID 5919.
Should I apply now and request for additional 25,000 points after the approval or request 75,000 before approval via secure email?

why not apply for the 10k/25k offer after $1000 in spend, and try to get it matched to the 75k offer. that way you only need to make 1k in spend instead of 5k. at worst you could always get it matched back to the 50k.

I am a manager in the Email Servicing Department and can appreciate your interest in the offer associated with the Premier Rewards Gold Card.
I have checked our records and see that your Card account was signed up to receive 25,000 bonus Membership Rewards points on spending $1,000 within three months.
Regrettably we are unable to extend the new offer of 75,000 bonus points to you as this offer is only for solicited non-Cardmembers. Please understand that not all offers can be honored for all Cardholders as they may have applicable terms and conditions that do not apply as such.
I understand that this may be disappointing to you; however, because many of our offers are targeted to specific types of Cardmembers, you can expect to see various promotions throughout the year for which you may be eligible. Our intent is to provide offers that will appeal to various interests and different types of people.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to assisting you in the future.
Sincerely, Pankaj Anand Manager, Email Servicing Team American Express Interactive Services

I guess if you didn't know what Targeted was you would have to read a couple of the first post of the thread, and it would become clear, it is also clear there is no link to the 75k. Also if you read the threads you will see it is for 75k Amex MR points which aren't with any particular Airline. If you don't know how MR points work, best to do some research (google search) first.

Ok targeted means, the offer is only valid for the people Amex "targeted" or sent it too.

I did read some of the posts before I asked.....as far as reading this forum and applying for credit cards I only applied to two which is within the last week...Other than that, have not read anything for years so had no idea all these acronyms and 'secret" codes to the industry. just like YMMV or something like that which I asked what it meant a short while back...

Second time's the charm...
I will be glad to assist you with your inquiry.
The initial offer for your Card is that you will receive 25,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 within the first 3 months of membership. You will receive these points 8-12 weeks after you meet the spend qualification.
I am happy to inform you that I have now issued the additional 50,000 points to your account.
We welcome you to the American Express family and look forward to assisting you in the future. Have a great day!
