QQ Miles to AA Miles
 

I signed up for Reno Air's FF program several months ago for 1500 bonus miles, not knowing for certain whether I'd be able to use them any time soon. But now that AA is swallowing them up, anyone know for certain what the plan is here?

Since I have about 4000 latent AA miles, I'd be able to boost the total to over 5,000 and transfer them into something I could use - 10,000 HHonors points. That promo won't be around after Aug. So, will QQ miles be integrated into AA? If so, when?

I just spoke to someone at AA and was told the following. The Reno miles will be transfered to AA after Dec 31. You are not able to use them, in combination with AA, until that time. I asked if I can "borrow" against them and they said no.
