500 free Delta SkyMiles

Just have a Delta credit card and sign up for Delta's dining program (NO NEED TO EAT OUT) and receive 500 miles:

http://skymiles.rewardsnetwork.com/b...-DL592_Feb2001

Earn another 1000 miles if you actually go out and dine.

I received a different promo this morning -join SkyMiles Dining and receive 1100 miles bonus after spending $25 and writing a review. Using the link in my email, I signed up this morning.

This offer, for which it *looks* like I was able to register, specifies in T&C:
This bonus offer is only open to Delta SkyMiles members who have a Delta SkyMiles Credit Card from American Express. In addition, this bonus offer is open to new SkyMiles Dining members or existing members without a dining profile at the time of registration.
Technically, I already had a dining profile, but maybe it'll work since I just created it this morning? I guess I'll know in 4-6 weeks....

Update: I just received a confirmation email that I earned the initial 500 mi bonus for signing up. So, if you just created your dining profile this morning in response to the other promo, it should work. ^

I just signed up for their Light Up promotion (1100 miles after sign up, spend $25 at a restaurant, and write a review for them.) This is a better deal and although I shouldn't be eligible since I already have an account it still let me sign up for it. We'll see if the miles post.

Update after seeing akcae's post. I created my account a week ago and I still got the confirmation email as well.

Thanks for posting this. I just signed up for my 500 miles. Unfortunately a grand total of one restaurant in my area is in the program. But the 500 miles are nice.^

Nice find! Thanks. Looking forward to the 500 miles.

onthego15- At least you have one restaurant in your area. I have none. I lost my VIP status, temporarily.

Thanks for posting! Should be an easy 1500 miles.

I have been a member and signed up for this bonus and received the confirmation email as well for 500 miles. I also did this for 3 other family members without any problems. Thanks for the link!

They also have The Step Up Bonus going on now as well that gets you 500 miles for every $50 you spend through the Ides of March. You can do it 3 times for a total of 1,500. Hopefully both these bonuses will count for the first $50 you spend and you can actually receive 2,000 miles (500 Sign Up Bonus + 1000 for spending $30 + 500 for spending $20 more)

If you want to earn points you need to enter your credit card. They don't charge your card but they need that info so that their system can detect you purchased something from one of the participating restaurants and you get credit for it.

I just signed up last week and made my first purchase a week ago and the credit just posted to the dining site today (I think its a few more days before it posts to Delta.) 110 miles for a $36.80 meal I would have had anyway, can't go wrong with that. (Not to mention the 37 miles I'll get for paying for it with my Delta Amex as well...)

Nice find, thanks!

I signed up but didn't use my Delta Amex ( not with me at work) but I think you get the 500 just for signing up regardless of what card you use, for the addition 1000 I think you had to use a delta amex

It looks like the whole Rewards Network website is down for maintenance at the moment. Try again in the morning and it should work.
