Delta bonus miles delay
 

I applied for Delta Gold amex card last november. This is my sign up bonus confirmed with couple of reps by calling amex.

15,000 after first purchase
10,000 after $1000 purchases in 3 months

I made my first purchase on 11/29/2010 and received only 10K instead of 15k. And also fulfilled the $1000 purchases with the statement ended on Feb 4th and no bonus miles credited so far. I mailed AMEX and received standard response saying 'it takes 4-8 weeks'.

I don't want to sound like impatient, but just trying to understand Delta timelines in crediting bonus miles. Thanks.

You'll need ALLOT more patience :D I got an SPG AMEX in July, fulfilled spend requirements by August. Got partial bonuses in Sept. Just THIS WEEK got final due bonus miles :rolleyes:

Do you have a screen shot or hard copy of the offer? Promotions change, and
they try to give you less miles. If the link is still active, print out a copy.

Geez, you'll need a WHOLE LOT more patience if you plan on being with Delta at all.

Why are you doing this instead of convincing them you got the 50K promo instead? I'd get hold of one and fax them that.
