What % frequent flyer are you

I realize some don't use the service, but on MileageMiner, it states that
based on my flight activity in 1999, I'm on track to be in the top 5.02% of all frequent flyers!

Now, I know I don't fly nearly as much as some of the jetwizards on this board; in fact, I'm a kitten when it comes to some.

At one point I was at 3.7%! Am I the only one using this thing, or what?

For those of you actually using the service, what does that top line up there in red say when you sign on?

wanderlust,

I always wondered how I compared! I just pulled up my account and in red it stated: "..... ,keep flying and you will soon be in the top 50% of all frequent flyers for 1999!"

I'm just thinking if all my FF programs were listed and accounted for correctly, what percentage I would achieve? Some of my programs do not allow a third party inquiry. Others don't acknowledge the password and still others indicate problems with the web site. I guess I'll never really know for sure.

It will be interesting to see how others compare. Thanks for the thread.

I have given up with that program because they've failed to promptly credit some flights and some hotel stays.

In fact, the laughable thing was last I was in the top 5 percent (which seemed too high)
and even though this year has been busier I'm in the top 50 percent.

20-25 percent to me sounds more logical.

OMNI for Wanderlust: If you are a kitten, then I must be a White Tiger on FF travel!

Old Gold Jun 5, 1999 9:15 pm

Some years ago OnePass (At the time Eastern and Continental) would give elite status based on being on the top percentage of travelers in a particular market.

OnePass members who were in the top 7% in their market would become Bronze Elite regardless of actual milage flown. I first achieved Silver Elite status after flying only 2 roundtrips in the previous year. When I first qualified for Gold my letter from Earl Quenzel (The director of marketing at CO at the time) stated that I was in the top 2%.
