PC Visa - targeted offer
Have not seen this posted before. It is obviously targeted because when I load the application it already has my name on it. The following are the details:
Dear DeanT, Only with the ALL NEW Priority Club® Select Visa® card will you get: • 45,000 bonus points after your first purchase • A Free Night certificate every year good at over 4,400 hotels, worldwide • No foreign transaction fees when you travel abroad • Automatic 10% rebate on all point redemptions — up to 100,000 points back each year • 5 points per $1 spent at our hotels • 2 points per $1 spent on eligible gas, grocery and dining purchases • Complimentary Gold Elite status • No annual fee the first year — a $49 value At least this is better than their normal 30K sign up bonus. |
Many of us were offered a 60K sign-up bonus for the card as a latch in the "Crack the Case" promo. So they've definitely done even better than 45K.
Note that the 10% rebate applies to any points redemption - including transfers to airline partners or cash & points. The cash part of that doesn't have to be paid with the PC Visa either. |
I received an offer by email yesterday for the PC Select Visa offering 80,000 miles. Rest of the terms were identical

If you look in the Priority Club Forum, you will find threads about all these offers - 30k, 45K, 60K and 80K.

I received the 80,000 points offer. It went straight to Trash after I read it.

80k + one free night is not bad actually. That´s 3 free nights compared to 2 with the Hyatt card. Might be useful for some high end IC redemptions. If you have 28k points, you can get 4 nights at a place like the IC Amstel. Throw in a BOGO at the beginning on a paid stay and an Amb upgrade and it might be worth it...

I'm still waiting for someone to post a link that is not targeted... |

Been debating the 80k offer as well, I received it a couple weeks ago. My terms were similar to those listed here, except mine did not have the offer of complimentary Gold Elite status (in the email offer at least - the web application page says: Permanent Gold Elite status (FWIW).
