Airmiles Toolbars?
 

Has anyone ever downloaded one of these tool-bars that lets you earn airline miles for searches or shopping? Is it worth it? I was thinking about signing up for one, but this is fairly new to me, and was wondering what the best one(s) were, and what your experiences were like using them?

I use the AA toolbar, mainly because I use the shopping portal and the toolbar helps let me know when a transaction should count. I think the value of these toolbars for gaining miles for searches is not that great. For the AA toolbar you can get a mile for every three searches you make, but the searches are with a provider I don't like to use and the software attempts to discern "fake" searches, often cancelling out legitimate searches I do make.

It's a crappy toolbar & search function but it's also an easy 500 miles

The only two I know of are for AA and US. Both are causing frustrations for some and joy for others.

Have used AA's but I hate how it pops up to say you earned a mile. I want an option to disable that. And some other small features.

I used AA's and removed it as soon as the bonus finally posted.

I added US' yesterday and would LOVE a pop up telling me I've earned something!! Having done numerous searches and a purchase, I'm still posting '0 searches, 0 miles' on the toolbar. :mad:

Dl'd the AA toolbar a few months ago, performed a few searches and then deleted. My toolbar bonus miles showed up about 1-2 month later.
