philforest: For me it is simple: I have saved myself hours (if not days) of time and myself AND my company thousands of dollars from the advice and tips I've read here. So its worth my investment of time.

But, having said that, my commute varies in the morning anywhere from as short as 15 mintues to as long as an hour, so I spend time here only when I get in early (of course, I sometimes find myself leaving a little earlier when I've got a trip coming up)...

Also, as the Catman said, read only those threads which seem to be of interest (although, I have found, this can be deceptive because we all seem to like the tangents we go off on...)

I agree with Matt. I wish I knew of this
site a while ago... Imagine the money I could have saved.

Everyone has to decide how much time is reasonable to invest in reading this site.
There are a lot of tips to reading this site
and in the process helping each other.

Imagine if several of us got together LIVE like a "coffee clutch" to just chat about miles and programs and politics and life and the mystery of EMMETT_Nancy. That might be a fun idea to try sometime.
