FYI, I just received an email for my PenFed Amex card that they will give me another 10K pts for using my card once after 11/1, and another 20K if I spend $650 by 12/31.

I already received my first 20K points for getting this card and spending $650 back in February. In fact I just redeemed my 20K points for gift cards.

Maybe that drew their attention. Hadn't used the card for months and now was redeeming all my points, and getting ready to cancel the card. (Which was true.)

I called the 800 number on the email and they said not all customers were getting this offer.

Makes wish I had tried harder to get my wife one of these cards earlier in the year. I am going to end up with 50K points on this card. I will probably turn them all in for $500 in Pier One gift cards where my wife is looking for some new furniture.

That's a very nice offer. I will try to call and see if I can get that. I use that extensively for airline tickets.

Got the same, but my wife hasn't got it yet, we are both Penfed AMEX holders and have not used the cards since 20K bonus points posted.

Penfed auto rates
 

Just as an aside, if any members were looking to save on their Auto loan rate, I just refinanced an Auto Loan with their 2.99% rate and was approved fairly quickly. Process overall was fairly easy and ended up saving about $2000 in interest payments by shifting from my prior 5.25% loan I had. Bought used, not new so I never had the 0% that others might.
