Virgin Club or Krisflyer
 

Hi All,
This is the first time I am using this portal. I have got a very simple question but answer might be complex.

I am flying from London-Australia (return) this year and wish to earn miles for my journey. As I am based in UK which club (virgin or krisflyer) is better for me to earn my miles.
I have read their policies and they both allow to earn miles if you are travelling with one or the other. But which one would be more useful for me... i.e. in redeming points in future and gaining facilities on the airport etc etc.

Any help would be useful
