I think I've read every post in this thread, and I am really trying to patiently wait to apply, so some of my old apps get some more age on them...I do hope it runs through October.

(Tough to be patient though!)
Yeah, it sure is tough to wait!

I applied for a personal right after this deal was posted on here even though I already have one, just hoping that I'd sneak though... but I didn't.

Now, I'm wondering if I wait until 90 days after my previous Business card application and use a different business name, if that would work. But, the problem with that is that I still have to wait a couple more months!

IMHO for those of us with recent prior Citi's I think waiting is prudent.

I don't see the offer going away fast- it's been almost 3 weeks now. If anything the "concrete" rules seem to be softening a little. Citi has a ton of AA miles and isn't losing much to churners anymore. And their new apps are still way way down. Credit card companies are hurting bad. I read that their balances are down over 13% from a year ago.

The 60/90 rules for Citi are there tho. And as my neighbor who had "too many inquiries" from getting the SPG's within 60 days of her Citi app found, inquiries matter a lot with Citi.

I'm sitting out as long as I can from my only two other Citi's (May), my Citi "prior" rejection (July) and my 2 SPG's (July). Even tho I think Chase is a different pull and I know CO is disappearing, I'm reluctant to do the CO card. Too often it seems around DC that Experian or Equifax is a crap shoot with these cards and if it's successful it shows as a new account on both.

Of course I'm the one who did his first 2 Citi's a few weeks before this offer popped, so my instincts may be unreliable.

I've bookmarked these links to know where to go to apply in October as I recently got Citi and SPG cards and have to wait. I do not see anything about the second 50K miles on the 50K card. I read all the T&C at the bottom but there is nothing there about this. Where is this information?

75,000 miles

This is a big thread, so a repost is helpful so we don't have to dig through.

No, you are not.

There are 3 offers, 50K, 75K, and 50K+50K=100K. I believe these links represent only the former two offers.

I finally bit on this promotion yesterday. Citi has been sending me solicitations steadfastly through this recent recession. I did not get instant approval. I was finishing up; when their computer sent me a message. This isn't quite technically correct; but the message was something like: "woah, dude, like our system is weirded-out at the moment. But, not to worry; we got ya! Get back to ya on the snail mail, man.". Not the most confidence inspiring moment of my life..
If I get the card, I'll post back here.

That's the 50K offer, not the 50/100 offer.

The screenshot of the 50/100 is early in the posts.

The links don't work in the promo. But good to print out as "proof".

You are right, I only have the links for the lower offers, not the 100k offer. The promo in the mail said apply at www.away4.citicards.com and it redirected to the 50k offer. I found the 75k offer by replacing the 50 in the link with a 75. Did not work for the 100k offer.

I'm trying to find the 100k offer but no luck so far. Here's what I found playing around with the links.

www.away.citicards.com
www.away2.citicards.com
www.away3.citicards.com
www.away4.citicards.com
www.away5.citicards.com

That last one is great. The buttons in it work for the 75K.

On the earlier one (away4) the buttons led to a "system error" message.

I wonder what the "prospectID=" followed by many digits is though.

The 75,000 mile offer is interesting.

If I already have a Citi Master Card, am I considered a first-time customer if I apply for the Visa Card?

Maybe, maybe not. It's a total crap shoot.
