Thanks. I read the post several times, but I wanted to confirm whether DH was considered 1st time applicant since he already has a Citi Biz MC. Don't want an unnecessary hard pull.

Citi treats Business and Personal apps separately. If he has never had a Personal Citi card, then he is a new customer for the purpose of these Personal cards.

What should I put as my Biz income if I'm going the "Sole Proprietorship" route on the application? Does it matter if I put $0.

I work full time and the only "Biz" stuff I do would be to sell some stuff on Ebay twice a year.

Thanks!

PS: Applied for the $1500 spend Visa and got approved after a chat with the CR who confirmed my 75k bonus!! Love FT!
$0 worked for me and for my wife.

They agreed to reconsider but had to defer to higher ups (even after supervisor reviewed) again. Today (9/13) I checked by phone and they declined again for same reason. It seems this was not meant to be.
Would you mind identifying what your total available credit was on your existing Citi cards that got you declined for the AA Visa? I have pretty significant credit limits on my two Citicards combined (one is AA MC opened ~29 months ago, the last of many successful churns prior to the change in policy). I am wondering if I should cancel the AA MC prior to applying to eliminate this potential reason for denial.

Thanks, got the card and offer

Lotsa love to you! I have a personal AAdvantage Citi Card (last year's 90k offer) and now have the business card. When I called to activate the card, the rep confirmed the 75k offer.

I'm using these miles to go to Tanzania and climb Mt Kilimanjaro!

Sorry but not comfortable providing details about the total credit line amount.

Just be prepared that it would a heck of fuel surcharge on that ticket because AA does not fly to Africa so you would need to take BA to get there. The YQ for a North America to Africa ticket likely costs over $1000. (or may be IB flies to Africa so the cost may be somewhat lower.)

You can look up your tentative itinerary on ITA site and gauge the taxes and fuel surcharges. Good Luck.

FWIW, I got Citi Personal AmEx/Visa (4/22/11) and HHonors Visa (6/22/11) with combined $50K CL, followed by $1K on the Citi Biz Visa (6/22/11). My wife has $44,500 CL for the same four cards.

OW does not service JRO.
It was $586 all in (YQ+tax) when I checked in July, PHX-LHR-NBO on BA. Then a puddle jumper to JRO for $200 RT.

Well, I dont know how you get such a low number. Below is the taxes and fee details from ITA site on a random 10 days trip next July, PHX-LHR-NBO r/t BA only.

http://matrix.itasoftware.com/view/d...2-e0a1316718ca

BA YQ surcharge (YQ) $658.00
BA YQ surcharge (YQ) $24.00
United Kingdom Passenger Service Charge (UB) $73.20
US International Departure Tax (US) $16.30
US September 11th Security Fee (AY) $7.50
US Passenger Facility Charge (XF) $13.50
USDA APHIS Fee (XA) $5.00
US Immigration Fee (XY) $7.00
US Customs Fee (YC) $5.50
US International Arrival Tax (US) $16.30
Kenya Passenger Service Charge (international) (TU) $20.00`

It adds up to $845.80

As you can see, BA YQ alone is $658 on the long haul + $25
