The key is going to be finding good city pairs that have low fares. Many of the listed destinations are going to be pricey.
|
The cheapest I can find from DFW is between $2-300 RT. Not worth it.
|
Fares from NYC to most of these destinations are prohibitively expensive.
I'd love to do all 10 in one shot though. I wonder how much that itinerary would cost. |

I'd love to do all 10 in one shot though. I wonder how much that itinerary would cost. $2000 perhaps with enough luck and skill, but I doubt it. I will give anyone who can ticket all ten cities this for less than $2000 a free AA SWU. :) WAY above my CPM mileage run threshold. This promo only makes sense if you already need to go to many of those cities. ----------------------------- The cheapest way to fly this. I am finding very difficult to find round trip non stop flights from these 17 cities. I got a ltter back from AA webmaster directing me to the one world route map but it still does not allow you to type in one of the cities to see which routes you can fly. If they want more people using the promotion they should give more info. Otherwise you can spend som much time on the computer or phone trying to figure this out. If they want people to spend $$ then they should make it easier.

double miles
Many of these routes also offer double AAdvantage miles - see www.aa.com/offers for details! I pasted this from the promotion details.
i love the way they are so vague...tell us which routes offer double miles please! |
There are many, many cheaper ways to accumulate 100k AA miles.

Might be doable for about $3000 with lots of time and skill applied.

So it is ok to fly from DFW? I was thinking you had to fly only between the cities mentioned. Or is it just to and from them from any destination? |
Personally I will be surprised if ANYONE gets 100k from this promo... this one is a pure attention grabber with no substance.
