Now you can earn air miles for revolving a balance. First Union National Bank has just introduced three new programs: ‘Travel & More’, ‘Air Miles’ and ‘Air Miles Plus’.

Each of the new programs offers distinctive features that may have appeal for the way you spend your travel dollar:

***TRAVEL & MORE*** This program has a 12.65% variable rate and a $49 annual fee, which is waived the first year. It offers revolving cardholders 10 air miles for every $100 in balance carried forward. If the cardholder makes a balance transfer within 60 days of opening their account, they will receive 500 bonus points. Another 500 points will be awarded at the one-year renewal.

***AIR MILES*** This program has a 15.65% variable rate with a $15 annual fee, awards one air mile for each dollar charged, and 1,000 bonus points for making a balance transfer within 60 days of receiving the card. Another 1,000 points will be awarded at the one-year renewal.

***AIR MILES PLUS*** This program has a 13.65% variable rate with a $75 annual fee, with cardholders earning 1.2 points for every dollar charged in purchases. Cardholders also earn 2,500 bonus points for their first purchase and 1,000 bonus points reward for the annual renewal.

Redemption rates for free airline tickets begin at the 18,000 miles or point level for zoned travel on the East Coast.
