Might want to try Craigslist... or make 90 meaningful posts on FT and wait 3 months. Note: FT strictly forbids exchange of travel related items that involve cash. Vouchers are a gray area.

BTW, the airlines aren't amused by buying/selling upgrade coupons. They have been known to cancel tickets if they suspect you are trying to use an upgrade coupon that has been sold.

No more upgrade coupons. Everyone in business and first class pays full fare. :D

You should note that eBay is pretty aggressive with respect to taking down any auctions for miles, awards, and upgrades, whether achieved through miles or coupons.

what do you mean by making 90 meaningful posts on FT and waiting 3 months? is there some type of 90-post award? :) haha

Last year, I purchased upgrade coupons at LAX for AC. If I recall, the coupons were ~$75 each, and they were only good for a few very specific routes. In my case, LAX-YVR happened to be one of these routes, and I used them to upgrade the entire RT. At first, the CS rep at the ticket counter had no idea what I was talking about, but I had brought in a printout from their website. Eventually, she found the vouchers and sold them to me. These had to be purchased [I]at[I] the airport, so I simply purchased them when I had to be at LAX for a different trip.

Hope this helps.

Also, look on ebay for systemwide upgrades, they usually say, you'll bid on a white envelope and get the systemwide for free ( the envelope is somewhere between 300-600$)

note to OP, this is forbidden by AA for their SWU's (sometimes called eVIP's)

AA SWU's can be given but not with anything returned as part of an exchange

eBay used to have a lot of United SWUs for sale, but I think that has stopped. Those were only worth the price for international because they usually sold for $300+ and you needed to buy a relatively expensive coach fare and then evade United's attempts to catch you doing it.
