e-miles: Deposit, or wait for a promo?
 

I have a couple of e-miles accounts. I started one during the Delta Pile on Miles promo this summer.

I've got enough miles for another redemption, but I don't know if I should wait for another promo, maybe next summer, or if I should just redeem now.

The benefit of redeeming now, to me, is that e-miles could fold before I get a chance to redeem.

That's my philosophy for e-miles, e-rewards, mypoints, etc.

Besides--and someone correct me if I'm wrong--I don't recall seeing any promos that increase the value of e-miles you already have.

Well, for Pile on Miles, you needed a certain number of partners putting miles in your account, so this could count as one.

But I'll just do the deposit and scramble if/when I need more.
