mci 25k offer
 

Thanks to "***uchan" I just earned another 50,000 miles. Although it was difficult to get through to MCI, after I did it was so simple - the lady(s) just asked my phone number, and I asked to be transferred to MCI 25K Mile Offer desk. From there, I asked to transfer my phone (I have 2 lines) number to MCI and get the 25K miles. No questions asked, no "Code" number asked, no nothing. And - I live in Colorado!!! My second line is a fax line and I already took a 10K offer a few weeks ago - she gave me the extra 15K miles - and on United!! What a deal. This is my first day using "The Buzz" and has it paid off!!!! Thanks to all of you for all the good info. Ron

Welcome Ron,

You may want to read some of the other posts on this board about MCI and just be aware of some of their customer service practices. I would keep a close watch on your statements to make sure the miles actually show up. I hope it works for you!

I wonder whteher it would be worthwhile costwise to have say 4 extra lines put on with your telephone company (all with Sprint).

You then switch all 4 to MCI

4 x 25,000 miles = 100,000 miles

Woudl this be cost-effective or are the installation costs too expensive?

What am I missing? When I called - I'm pretty sure I only got 5k up front - with 5k to follow in each of 4months later - should I have gotten 10 at once? How long will they take to post?
