Citibank CC FF Miles Limits

I have a question on the 100K limit per year one can earn from Citibank AA Credit Cards. I understand this does not include any bonuses you get for signing up (the 25K or 30K if you spend $750 in the first 4 months) but is the limit per card or AA FF account? In other words, can I earn 300K if I have 3 Citibank AA credit cards (say an AMEX Visa, and MC) or will they only post to 100K miles to my account combined?

As long as you get charged the annual fee... :-(

Is the limit lifted for Elites?

Then again, if you're charging more then $100,001 a year... :)

Yes. from lowly GLD to EXP, no limit.

Miles simply stop to post after limit is hit.

If you started the card as non-elite, it wouldn't help if you qualified mid-year - Neither Citi nor AA would budge to lift the cap for that particular card. People tried to argue with Citi/AA and started new threads on said subj - never read any positive feedback from the OPs and threads just died.

Happened to me. Lost 100k - big ouch!
Was not watching that the Amex shared the line with MC
Made 3 more Citi Applications that I was not planning to.

What about the following year? Or would that card always have a cap if you were non-elite at the time of application?

Yes, the following year the cap will be lifted. Although for some reason I thought the cap was lifted immediately after I hit 1MM.

Well, there's a reason to do a Plat challenge last week of December! :)
