Nice surprise from MCI today
 

I received an email from MCI, my internet provider today. I went with MCI for internet service 6 months ago because they offered me service at $14.95/month PLUS 5,000 Northwest miles to join and 75 miles per month.

Anyway, they recently sold their internet division to another company that will no longer offer miles. As an apology for the change in policy, they are giving me 1500 extra miles that will be posted in my account in a few weeks.

Now if the new owners don't raise the price, I won't mind not getting miles....
