Do not call the airlines under any conditions! This is the fastest way to kill the trick and bring unwanted attention to your itinerary! And do not post precious deals in this thread, this is by far the fastest way to kill the trick!

************************************************** ******
This is NOT the right place to ask: "Can you help me with a low fare for AAA-BBB?" This is not the beg-it thread, but the trick-it thread.

This thread deals with unique combinations of routes and booking tricks in order to lower prices on airline fares. Prices that would astound the general public are often achieved by the posters in this thread.

Many people, including airline representatives, monitor this thread. For that reason, it is unorganized, very content heavy, often lacking details, and written in shorthand. It takes patience and effort in order to understand the conversation and be able to participate as an active member.

We encourage you to read the entirety of this thread if you would like to get started and to experiment as soon as you understand the gist of Trick It. Lots of time spent reading, practicing, and learning is the only way to be able to reproduce our tricks and discover new ones yourself. There are many, many people who ask for advice here, so productive members are only able to help those who have shown a concerted effort and progress over a long period of time (months).

If you have no idea what this thread is about, a good place to start are various blogs' posts on the subject. At the very least, read the Rules for posting in this thread. They're also listed in the very first post, below.

Older portions of the thread have been separated into archive thread by year. They are listed below

C3 - C1 117,41 € all-in on Edreams. No risk.

Travel as late as June 6, 2019

Very useful as TPAC in RTW construction, especially for Europeans since C2- C3 is almost same price.

For those who value frequent flyer miles @ 1.9 c per mile in this high quality Frequent Flyer program, the net cost is zero.

I could only find strikes which reduce YQ by ~20 EUR (500 to 480). I've tried all continents, all known to me candidates, in all possible combinations and strike ways/positions known to me
Then at some point I realized that some of the dumping can't be seen on ITA and I don't even know if that was one of those and maybe all 5 hours were for nothing. So then I asked the question (which I don't really think is too much), simply whether I can see it on ITA, but no one answered (nor in forum nor PM; I only got lurkers in PM asking me what the fare was), so I just figured that the only way here to find stuff is 100% yourself. This experience is also consistent with my previous questions in this forum.
So I'm very surprised you offered me your help, appreciate it and will keep in mind!

C3-c1 229,79 rt skyteam

In case someone wants to fly from Asia to North America RT instead of One Way.

Flyable X factor with European airport as departure . Bookable on Opodo.de OTA.

All major alliances now dumpable C3-C1 One Way or RT.
SKYTEAM
ONEWORLD
STAR ALLIANCE
A posting from a couple of days ago must have had a typo error as to first digit in All-in price.

Since most of the active members seem to be European, the One Way at ~ 103-117 would seem the most attractive for a RTW experience .

Extract from fare rules :
Base fare 5,94 each way. End-on-End not permitted. Infants travel free.

At the risk of sounding stupid, I still wanted to ask: are the FD you guys find only applicable to intercontinental flights? I wonder - but haven't really done much work- if C2-C2 can also work?

I just returned from three years of absence (abstinence?), and am very glad to see there are still some familiar names on here.
I was worried that the trickit thread was going to be dead, but of course it's still going! Nice one everyone

Abstinence ? Did you spend three years in Monastery ? The rest of us have sinned everyday for last 3 years. I used to have great 3X for AT JFK to Spain Portugal with accident prone carrier as 3X for 132 all-in RT. No more. Any ideas anyone ?
