Do not call the airlines under any conditions! This is the fastest way to kill the trick and bring unwanted attention to your itinerary! And do not post precious deals in this thread, this is by far the fastest way to kill the trick!

************************************************** ******
This is NOT the right place to ask: "Can you help me with a low fare for AAA-BBB?" This is not the beg-it thread, but the trick-it thread.

This thread deals with unique combinations of routes and booking tricks in order to lower prices on airline fares. Prices that would astound the general public are often achieved by the posters in this thread.

Many people, including airline representatives, monitor this thread. For that reason, it is unorganized, very content heavy, often lacking details, and written in shorthand. It takes patience and effort in order to understand the conversation and be able to participate as an active member.

We encourage you to read the entirety of this thread if you would like to get started and to experiment as soon as you understand the gist of Trick It. Lots of time spent reading, practicing, and learning is the only way to be able to reproduce our tricks and discover new ones yourself. There are many, many people who ask for advice here, so productive members are only able to help those who have shown a concerted effort and progress over a long period of time (months).

If you have no idea what this thread is about, a good place to start are various blogs' posts on the subject. At the very least, read the Rules for posting in this thread. They're also listed in the very first post, below.

Older portions of the thread have been separated into archive thread by year. They are listed below

Very slow indeed, i gave up on it entirely. I am now using the new one, which takes a bit of getting used to, but search speed is really good.

The old matrix will get shut down sooner or later, i think we should be happy that they decided to keep it running in a new version. The latest version still does the same job; it only has a different interface.

There is a consolidated thread ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search Consolidated Information and Help Thread were, theoretically, you can post your suggestions or bugs. But I think this is it how we have it now, and there is no big hope for another interface. I do not like two things: 1) those fancy decoration around airport acronyms, totally useless, ugly, distracting and counterproductive. ITA Matrix is not for TikTok users so why this decoration? No idea. You cannot easily mark a group of airports in order to delete/edit/add, a list of airports now has to be separated by ;
2) going from Round Trip to Multi City does not work as expected: by "expected" I mean that I have outbound and inbound flight legs present, which is not the case, I have to add the latter leg manually (by Add flight), both the airport and the date, this is really a pity

TATL OJ @ 80 % discount.
Jun 27 last day.
Extremely cheap way to get across "water" in High Season.
Extremely airport and Carrier specific and somewhat date limited, so please No PMs with open ended ? questions.
If you have the relevant geographical travel needs as well as prerequisites, I MAY help you out.

First post here so I'm trying to get the hang of things.

I've found a C2-C1 with a 3x. The fat trims perfectly but the x-factor doesn't get me out of blues. Nevertheless, there are a wide range of options for dumps and am trying to see if there are improvements.

Interesting. Probably different - I can see C2-C4 direct (not carnival city) for £232 or indirect (carnival city) for £270, rt ai. Not in September. It is new (although historically operating a few years ago).

They posted it from another city. And yes, I remember codeshare (I flew it once).
