Do not call the airlines under any conditions! This is the fastest way to kill the trick and bring unwanted attention to your itinerary! And do not post precious deals in this thread, this is by far the fastest way to kill the trick!
************************************************** ******
This is NOT the right place to ask: "Can you help me with a low fare for AAA-BBB?" This is not the beg-it thread, but the trick-it thread.
This thread deals with unique combinations of routes and booking tricks in order to lower prices on airline fares. Prices that would astound the general public are often achieved by the posters in this thread.
Many people, including airline representatives, monitor this thread. For that reason, it is unorganized, very content heavy, often lacking details, and written in shorthand. It takes patience and effort in order to understand the conversation and be able to participate as an active member.
We encourage you to read the entirety of this thread if you would like to get started and to experiment as soon as you understand the gist of Trick It. Lots of time spent reading, practicing, and learning is the only way to be able to reproduce our tricks and discover new ones yourself. There are many, many people who ask for advice here, so productive members are only able to help those who have shown a concerted effort and progress over a long period of time (months).
If you have no idea what this thread is about, a good place to start are various blogs' posts on the subject. At the very least, read the Rules for posting in this thread. They're also listed in the very first post, below.

C1-C3
GF says this route usually costs $10,000+ rt in J, but thanks to a good fare on which all fat can be removed, Americans can fly it for just $1,5xx. Might be possible to reduce another $150 or so.

C1 - C2 RT in J RT for $985. Almost full dump, and very little room to dump anymore. Totally not too good of a deal, but that's my first meaningful try. Definitely beyond LCC that probably worth trying.
You can't really get away from death and taxes.
Yet I still can't even understand a single word game here.

I'm trying the C1-C2 r/t in Y. Perhaps a different fare than what was already posted above. Can anyone please confirm if I can do better than C$ 273.36 using 3x?

For whatever it's worth.
C4-C4 C1-C2 C2-C1 itinerary.
Skipped C1-C2 but C2-C1 Stayed intact
C1 OneWorld airline agent
could not even see entire construction even though it was a SABRE booking.

Just general thing I do if I have to go to a place a twice in a given period of time. For a C1-C2/C3 roundtrip, add a C2/C3-C1 roundtrip in between such that the C2/C3-C1 "outbound" leg is the return back to C1 and the "inbound" leg is the outbound leg of the second trip. Usually, C2/C3-C1 roundtrip is much cheaper so the price per trip goes down, usually hundreds for Y and possible a few thousand for J.

On second thought I think we do not talk about the same - you are simply too good not to get a similar price in the deal I have quoted.. so I started a bit of investigation and found a different possibility which is for 293 euros... and well, concerning layover, in my case it is not so long, 10 h (in C2-C4 route).
Yet there is also the 3rd option around 270 euro and indeed, often with long layovers (but the availability is not that low). By "options" I mean totally different carriers.
