MR to LAX

I am going to do a MR on DL --> RIC to LAX. I have not flown to LAX in ages..my question is for those who have seen LAX recently and know the airport. My flight out there lands at 1023 and coming home I leave at 1140. 80 minute turn. Worse case scenario, from one end to the other (are all DL gates close?), including taxiing, am I asking for trouble? From experienced MR day runners -- is this connection too close?

Thanks for any help you can give.

By the way, 5 cpm (2.5cpm after bonuses) and gets me to DL Platinum, have to take Wednesday off work....

LAX is my home airport. If traveling Delta - Delta 80 minutes is more than enough time. Terminal 5 is not that big.

No problem at all you'll make it very easy.

Should not be an issue either way, plenty of time. However not all Delta flights are in terminal 5. A few are in terminal 6. If you have to change terminals you do not have to exit security; there is a long creepy tunnel between the two. ;)
