Thanks LegalEagle^ just did the multi-city option for 12/6 - 12/7 and it is still working

When I saw al613's post tonight, I knew it was just a matter of time for someone to get the rest of the deal working. How fortunate it is that I am already headed to ORD.

Valid ex-IAD as well...

I just managed to trick it from IAD, but the fare is pretty crappy...

Shown up as $916 in search results, $614 after clicking...

This fare isn't really notable, but at least the PL Trick is working - anyone have any ideas as to what rhyme and reason this glitch is based on?

Tricked from LAX :D

FINALLY!

I have tricked it ex-LAX. Flying into LAX was a disaster for my schedule - this works MUCH better, as I'll be on the east coast when needed (after Europe), and its dirt cheap! Essentially, this is the reverse routing of what was already stated previously. But at least we know its valid ex the west coast!

Here you go, everyone:

May is expensive, that is why you aren't getting good fares. It's still tricking for May - but prices are in the 1000's, meaning your savings will bring it down to around $700. Paltry, but worthwhile if you're going anyways.

The $200 fares are based on $600 ish fares for winter travel, I've found availability up to March 31 2009 for the $248 fare from LAX.

i was given a BMI confirmation number, but i would like to add this itinerary in my UnitedMP online account. should I call UA and tell them to add it or should I avoid calling anyone? I am afraid of calling and them telling me that the fare was a mistake and cannot honor it. =(

I'd wait at least until the deal dies for everyone before adding in your number and calling. They're not going to "not honor" your ticket. We've all done the PL trick before and returned from Europe without any ado. No problems.

Do not call. You can use the eticket number that Priceline will isue you to view your itinerary in United.com My Itineraries. It starts with 016 - go to my trips and you can see it there. Alternatively, go to flybmi.com then my booking and input your pnr there to see you eticket number.

There is some limited mileage that can be added. For example, both ORD-UA-JAX-UA-IAD-BD-LHR and ORD-UA-TPA-UA-IAD-BD-LHR priced out using the multi-city option.

It's a very strange 'trick', not only is there not a fuel surcharge, but the fare calculation on my receipt says the ORD-LON portion is 24.00 while the LON-LAX portion is 53.00 for a total base fare of 77.00...

Thanks to all for the heads up and the info.
