Seems like it is gone for all dates. I was on Quantas.com and had $515 for Nov. 14-23, but when I reached confirmation page, it could not confirm my flights. Now I cannot get any other dates to work. Anybody having luck with any available dates?

Nov 26th? LAX-SYD, Multiple return dates.
Nov 28th? LAX-SYD, Multiple return dates.
Nov 30th? LAX-SYD, Multiple return dates.
Dec 7th? LAX-SYD, Multiple return dates.

Etc.

I get to the payment page, which is as far as I want to go.

PS - Qantas is spelt Q-A-N-T-A-S, not QUANTAS or any other similar spellings.

Looks like dates in early December are still showing up. I did not try to confirm them.

This is a great deal but the thought of LAX-SYD in Y is just killing me - especially after seeing the interior of the QF A380.

Just managed Dec 1 (Mon) thru Dec 10 (Wed), 497.60 all-in. Seems my dream of getting to Austrlia under a 1000usd will come true in a big way. And LAN being my secondary FF program, assuming it's true they credit QF flights 100 %, I'll be quite happy with the miles.

Now if my boss will give me the time off.

Possibility of Booking This at $294.00 AI?

I have this booked for $294.36 A.I. on Apollo by over riding the validating carrier to LAN or AA; it doesn't pick up the $220.00YQ tax.
E-TKT REQUIRED
*PENALTY APPLIES*
LAST DATE TO PURCHASE TICKET: 16JUN08
$B-1-2 C16JUN08
LAX QF SYD 80.00OQF380 QF LAX 80.00OQF380 NUC160.00END ROE1.0
FARE USD 160.00 TAX 2.50AY TAX 30.80US TAX 5.00XA TAX 4.50XF
TAX 7.00XY TAX 5.50YC TAX 36.08AU TAX 42.98WY TOT USD 294.36
S1 NVB16NOV/NVA16NOV
S2 NVB05DEC/NVA05DEC
E NONEND/NONREF/VLD QF ONLY

The dates are LAX-SYD Nov.16, SYD-LAX 5 Dec. I am a little wary of ticketing this on my (apollo) system with the validation overriden even to another OneWorld carrier. My question is this: has anyone tried booking this on LAN.com? It seems LAN.com has been leaving out the YQ tax on some Oneworld itineraries from another Flyertalk thread.

There are still dates available. It seems that the total fare, including the outbound, depends on the return date. Changing the return date will trigger a change in the outbound fare in their flexible search calendar. So work "backwards" as well and the good fares appear to still be available.

Thank you OP!!

As all the dates started quickly disappearing off the QF site, I clicked "ticket" and scored two LAX-SYD departing Dec. 5th!! I love FlyerTalk!!

Zuji (singapore) still had the fares as of 45 min ago. Latest departure was Dec. 3rd however, which pisses me off, because I CANNOT GO THAT EARLY! ARRRGHHH! I knew this would happen one day! Why did I go to Tenerife and burn half of my vaca days???!?!?!
