Where is routing rules?

Hello all,

I am new to FT, and have been reading the forums for a few months now, and spent about 5 hours reading today about mileage runs. I am always hearing about routing rules, and where to find them. I attempted to look for them on various sites (orbitz, ITA, Expedia, etc.) but cannot for the life of me find them.

I must be blind or something, but could someone post exactly where they are able to be viewed/how to view them?

Sorry if this question has been asked before. I searched and could not find it.

Hi - Welcome to FT. I am going to move this to the Mileage Run - I think they can help you better. If ou have specific airline routing question - that might be more appropriate in that particular forum.

Have a great day!

Josh

Routing rules are not publicly available. Unless you are a travel agent, the easiest way to access them is to subscribe to either ExpertFlyer or the KVS availability tool.

priceline.com works fine for me. read through the stickied threads in the mileage run root forum to learn more.

You can get some rules at ITA once you had select the trip on the left side click on "Show booking details" and then on the fare you have another link to the rules.

That doesn't show the routing rules, however.

Expert Flyer seems to be the only reliable way to obtain routing rules anymore.

KVS also reliably displays routing rules.

Priceline.com is the best free way remaining but does not work for every fare.
