Correct. Both LX and OS P earn 100% in Miles+Bonus

I booked a couple of these fares and all of them got confirmed into business however one of the fare was changed into economy light .

I booked this on United I'm wondering what people would suggest I do cancel the ticket or take it up with United to have it moved back into business?

Snagged an open jaw LX CPH-BOS,JFK-CPH with a 90 day gap (gonna book 2 separate EU trips) via Booking.com yesterday. It seemed that I was artificially unable to increase the gaps beyond 90 days... I'm guessing that has to do with some US visa/tourist rules that you can't stay more than 90 days in the country as a visitor... Was hoping to get the AC J (for direct aisle access from every seat) as LX business cabin looks a bit tired IMO but I guess the silver lining is that since I'm traveling with my partner anyway it's not the end of the world if I have to take a 2 person seating (and also who can complain at $800 RT).

That's because the fare rules say "TRAVEL FROM LAST STOPOVER MUST COMMENCE NO LATER THAN 3 MONTHS AFTER DEPARTURE FROM FARE ORIGIN."

Not much to do with the visa rules.

On LH's website I can see that I can upgrade my FRA-IAD ticket from business (P) to first for $1600, or put a bid at $1100. I know we should wait for a few weeks before booking anything else, but I have the following questions:

-
The connection time in FRA is 1h, would that be basically impossible to experience FCT?
-If I upgrade with cash to F, would my original P class ticket get credits in A? I am using A3's Miles+Bonus and P class wouldn't get any miles, whereas A would be 300%

Yes it's way too tight to visit the FCT.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think LH only creates an EMD for cash upgrades? That doesn't change the e-ticket record itself, which determines the mileage accrual, and remains as P class there.

I wish i booked with UA, but whatever. Anyone else hoping for a schedule change on their 2-leg trip to shorten to 1?

I found a possible scheduling conflict and noticed that my United Airlines booking might be fully refundable as a credit when checking the cancellation options online (screen attached). Is it common for United to offer refunds as credits even when the fare rules state it's non-refundable (as far as I remember when booking)? Can I cancel my trip with short notice and get a voucher instead?

In my experience that was the case, I am able to get a travel credit back, unless it is a Basic Economy ticket. Of course this is on 016-stock tickets. Hope this helps. Someone please correct me if I am wrong!

@priobagtag Thanks! Sounds pretty fair so in fact I would really be able to cancel last minute given any schedule changes in my calendar to receive a credit for future travel? Wasn't aware that UA offers such a thing, great so know!

Yes! It I have canceled tickets when things came up last minute with no issue, and you get a travel credit to use on future travel within a year - travel credits can also be combined with each other. I believe it is for both US-origin and non-US tickets. Also, you will get a future flight credit if you change to a less expensive price. Booked my ticket on Swiss for this fare, so sadly from what I can tell I cannot change/cancel it without fees

Curious if you can get a trip credit if you cancel halfway through the trip? (CPH-USA complete, canceled before USA-CPH)
