[AC] Why no YUL <-> BOG Business?

YUL <-> BOG. Starting 1/8/23 there has been no availability of business class, only economy and premium economy. Premium economy seats start at row 12.

What gives? Are all the lie flat seats blocked off during the flights?

This is an old layout with 2-2-2 angle flat instead of 1-1-1 lie-flat ... sells as prem Eco.

I've flown it three times before. YUL <-> BOG was 1-2-1 with lie flats. Regardless, selecting premium eco only allows seating from row 12 and up. Isn't that suspect?

I am not sure why you are posting a question when you then just not like the answer you get.

AC may swap in a different plane from time to time. The dates I checked they show the 2-2-2 old style business scheduled which sells as prem eco outside of NA

I see your point and appreciate you looking up the aircraft type that could be flying the route. I should restate my statement/question.

How do I get a seat on an angle flat seat YUL <-> BOG?

Every date I see in August and September shows there is no business class availability. When I select Premium Economy and go as far in the booking process to select seats, the lowest row I can select is row 12. That would indicate that it's not a 1-2-1 or 2-2-2 configuration in the J cabin.

They are not selling business on this route because they are anticipating using the 2-2-2 old style J plane on that route which they are considering prem eco these days. Now, AC may swap in a proper 1-1-1 plane at any time which does have a prem eco section. My guess is they will sell this to the combined PE + J capacity and seat on the J cabin as and when needed.

Which exact dates are you looking at? I am seeing a 2-2-2 config starting at row 1 for all the dates I have been checking.
