It isn't that the fare increased, another component is now calculating correctly.

For those that "almost" got this deal, my advice always remains the same - don't dither, book straight away on BA.com and then you've got 24 hours to dither, check leave, make plans. But always book swiftly!

Very wise. Do you recall that feeding frenzy when people were booking to Seoul for 777 long years ago when the route was launched? I am sure people went into debt over that and what is more it does not stop with the mere good fare - there are such matters as food and accommodation to consider.

Oneworld Business Madrid JFK London Heathrow (Open Jaw): 1.100 Euro
Can this be ticketed by 001,125, 075 and 105?

I tried pricing it out on BA.com but LAX-SEA showed as AA Y and it was on a less-desirable inbound date.
wow, i managed to rebook for $1382, thanks to powertools, MAD LHR LAX SEA LAX LHR NAP including the ideal AS coded and operated flights between LAX-SEA-LAX. A minute after ticket was issued, I went back to recreate the link for my friend, the price would jump to $2300. So I rebooked right before fare was gone. This was around 1:15-30am PST.

While this reply means nothing now the deal is gone - when I was looking at flights last night, only 125 stock tickets had the discount. 001 stock was showing significantly higher prices, and I didnt see options on the other ticket stock types.

This is not true. 001 and others priced exactly the same. The practical usefulness of this is limited though.
What was required was BA marketed flights TATL.

(can still confirm this by backdating pricing to Aug 1)

Example with one domestic AA flight:
BCN BA X/LON BA X/PHL AA SAN Q BCNSAN16.35M274.18/-EWR BA X/LON BA BUD Q EWRBUD16.35M613.78NUC920.66END ROE0.91728 XFPHL4.5EWR4.5
autopriced identically (including YQ) on 125 and 001.
