Refund?
Is anyone else still waiting on their refund from LATAM ? They have cancelled my flight at my request since they will not give me the business class seat I bought. Before cancelling I made sure that they agreed, in writing, to refund all the money I paid but they havent yet paid me. I keep getting the please be patient replies

This is when you reply: I have already been patient by giving you [X months] as a gesture of goodwill from me to you. I am no longer willing to be patient and if you do not process the refund within 7 days I will initiate a chargeback with my credit card provider, or start a legal procedure to recover my funds + interest.
Or you could just do a chargeback now... you seem to have enoigh evidence they ae fobbing you off. Why delay?

Nigel Spencer got it, in my case, after contacting LATAM, they offered to choose: direct flight GRU-FRA in business on original date (instead GRU-LIM etc..), free change of date but in economy or full refund.

So dont want to post to rub it in , but more to say that these fares do at times come through. Though this was very lucky outcome. I am currently onboard on this fare
I was originally downgraded to eco
I called up and got lucky that my agent had no clue to why I got downgraded and re issued my fare
got lucky again that my booked flight got cancelled so I got a free change.
opted for gru to lhr but then lgw to Fra.
so I will get my bags at Heathrow and will sk1p l4g
have faith
