Please post the exact amount of miles needed. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

Going for Gold

Departure Airport: IAD/BWI/DCA
Miles (PQF/PQP/BIS, choose one) Needed: 5 PQF
Maximum Budget: $2000
Available Travel Dates: Oct 23-26; Nov 13-17

I have 4 other flights scheduled that will get me to 19 PQF for the year, leaving me 5 short of the 24 required. I will cross the 8,000 PQP requirement after my next flight. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

easiest with Air Canada and a quick trip to Toronto or Montreal. 11/14 --> 11/15 works. ~$450. 3 out/ or in-bound and then 2 the other way. $789 in business.

Alternatively you can buy a 4 segment UA trip and use SDC to make it into 5. That can get a bit tricky though and AC allows buying 3 per direction, so that'll work for sure. Just make sure you buy an eligible fare with AC

A couple folks were looking for premium cabin MRs for UA status out of the SFO/LAX area. There are some attractive fares right now.

Below is just an example. It nets >$4kPQP

I'm sure you know this, but just to be more explicit in an example, it's possible to add a Europe connection for more PQP:

This looks like ~5700 PQP if done in both directions.
Note that this is not fully optimized - you can probably find better times, a higher PQP connection in Europe, and also a higher PQP destination than MAD.

Yeah, plenty of options ... just starting points.

Oh these look really promising. Do all these fares have a Saturday night stay requirement or min 7-day? I'm trying to find something with a shorter turn, ideally can knock it out over a long weekend.

Can someone help me confirm my PQP calculations on this? And maybe someone else can benefit as well from a quick end of the year mileage run

SK SFO-CPH-MXP-CPH-SFO (mixture of N/L Class) --> Total would be 1032 PQPs + 4 PQFs

Price for this itinerary would be $594, so almost 2:1 ratio

The math checks out

I hope I am doing this right -- apologies for potential newbie errors (I registered on the site many years ago but just a lurker so far)

End of January, I will be 33,300 miles from 1 Million miles on UA. I would like to seal the Million Miler thing shortly after that, am a bit nervous UA may change the rules while I am this close. It also would come handy for travel next year. Looking for a combination of flights that gets me over the limit within my budget and not too much pain. Thought about taking a long flight to Asia and some shorter ones but have minimal experience with that. The mentioned $158.- BWI-LAX would be cost-effective but doing this 7 times or so does not sound like fun...

Any suggestions highly appreciated!

Departure Airport: BWI/IAD,DCA; could do EWR, PHL or even JFK
Miles (PQF/PQP/BIS, choose one) Needed: BIS
Maximum Budget: $2000.- would be doable, less is better
Available Travel Dates: most weekends Oct - January, some weekdays
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: No, must be UA metal

Route(s) You've Already Searched: I found BWI-LAX r/t for $158.- several days in Oct and November
