Update: Iberia just issued a new ticket, class: MYLONNB6. Anyone familiar with that code?

This is an economy fare as the first letter indicates the class of service.
M is economy.

So they have issued you with a refund and a new ticket?

I cannot find that code on EF. Maybe someone with GDS access can. The route is for MAD-SCL or something else?

Refund, Y ticket and voucher... the new booking can’t be viewed on Iberia though, so expecting some changes to come...
The routing is MAD-SCL-MAD.

Very nasty behavior from IB. Waiting almost two months to contact passengers and downgrade them on a 1K ticket, when they sell plenty of fares around that price anyway. Not to mention the measly 25% voucher that expires in a couple of months. Wonder what consumer protection agencies have to say about that.

There are good chances of winning this in Spain too and plenty of time to file a complaint but it will never be as cheap or fast as it was to file with a Recurso de Protección in Chile.

Did you get your tickets reinstated in J?

I haven’t been able to file because I have received ZERO further communication from LastMinute.com/Iberia/Latam, since the initial booking confirmation was received.

this is, despite the fact that my outbound travel has now completely disappeared from the reservation - only the inbound direct SCL-MAD is now showing.

So, surely I could file a Recuerso at some point ??

I accepted the downgrade offered via Recurso and as a matter of fact got my voucher also paid via wire transfer this week. 320 euros per ticket back. Thumbs up to LATAM.

A lot of folks are sharing pictures of flights being taken in J via Recurso. Some last night

Recurso in Chile was only available for no more than 30 after the cancellation. Not sure what applies in your case you should check with one of the lawyers or find new routes to file a case either in Chile or Spain.

thanks for the reply Comandante. That’s exactly what I mean - there has been no cancellation. Except that if I had not checked my booking personally I would not have known that the outbound legs have disappeared.

This is an Iberia private fare. Maybe it's only intended to be viewable by Iberia, not sure about that. A bit over 800 euros. Not refundable, has change fees (though they may have notes to waive or something).

Hello MGO, how much had you paid for your business ticket? Was this purchased directly with IB?
