Has anyone successfully traveled with the 1K ticket? I am not sure what to do at this point. I already purchased a position flight to LHR (only way to use my expiring SWU from AA), and I will not fly to SCL on economy.

They appear as "confirmed" until they don’t. The same thing happened with latam, the cancellations or downgrades were arriving first to some people and then to others, they didn't cancel all at once.
My point is, if Iberia has already cancelled more than one person, Why won't they do it to everyone?
What would be the difference if all those tickets were issued under the same fare and under the same conditions. The only difference would be the tickets date and the business class “free” spaces.

Can you elaborate a bit more on the "compensation" part - I am in the same position (i.e. booking dot com say that the refund has been processed and is on the way / call LATAM if any issues) so presumably it's just a case of move-on (I missed the deadline to file with the Chilean lawyers)?

Today I checked my booking on Ibeira's website and noticed that with one of my itineraries the seat assignment disappeared. I figured this was them downgrading me as per their voicemail, but I was able to reselect J class seats, maybe it was a plane swap. My other itineraries are still showing original seat selections. Hope we can still make this happen, I worry though that nothing will change on my reservations and be informed when I check in that we will be downgraded.

Same case here, my seat reservation disapeared. But I am able to select again in J

I can’t check in either.
Check-in should be available as the booking included seat selection.
(From the IB website: Select your seat and get your boarding pass as soon as you book a flight with Iberia, Iberia Express and Air Nostrum. If your fare doesn't include seat selection, you can still book in it advance for less than you would pay at the airport and get your boarding pass.)

AFAIK, for most IB flights check-in is available immediately, unless I'm reading the below info wrong:
