Not sure what the experts think but this really sounds to a topic discussed previously here that is the LATAM vs IBERIA implications.
What I can read in between lines is as it Iberia would have forced LATAM to send this. It has been mentioned that it looked like that the some of the cancellations follow the same logic.
I also think this coming 14 days late as they know that there is a joint demand in progress and they are afraid. Just MHO

The Spanish version seems to be more juicy that the English ones, I would love some of the experts to read the below wording. Specially the second part where they blame Iberia for ordering the cancellation.

Both versions seem fairly similar to me (edited: English version sent to me from GTG is a bit closer to the Spanish one, I suspect that English translation is done by each OTA, and the official statement is in Spanish). I am guessing this is just part of fingerpointing of LATAM vs Iberia, so that any future legal action is held in the "other" country (perhaps even agreed upon, to make such more difficult).
Looks like all parties were negotiating to come up with this message, so now everyone is getting the same thing (I received same today).
