Thanks to OP for posting this. I actually booked this before this was even published here but it is completely beside the point. Correct me if I'm wrong. Was there anybody hoping to fly IB C flexi fare for +-300EUR with some legs operated by LATAM? I am pretty sure these direct MAD-SCl-MAD flights booked on IB website for approx £850 operated by Iberia will be honored. Not really sure about these cheap OTA ones. I don't buy via OTA even if they sold this deal for a fraction of the price, I think people just book this for the sake of booking a cheap C fare. And hoping for the best that rarely comes. But you can't win if you don't play, right?

I booked directly with IB the 1k fare and it is still showing in Iberia. I bought similar fares with Iberia in the past; only in the last two years: Milan-bogota for 500 euros and Miami-Barcelona-Madrid-Lima for 950 euros, no problems at all with any of them. Im Iberia Platino, so if they cancel this one, I would try to push the airline as much as possible, using those two booking in the past as example.

I booked directly with IB the 1k fare and it is still showing in Iberia. I bought similar fares with Iberia in the past; only in the last two years: Milan-bogota for 500 euros and Miami-Barcelona-Madrid-Lima for 950 euros, no problems at all with any of them. Im Iberia Platino, so if they cancel this one, I would try to push the airline as much as possible, using those two booking in the past as example.

If these deals show up, book and hope for the best but never contact the airline about error fares, NEVER, unless you want to book a seat next to the toilets.

Don’t push them, it won’t change anything and it will only make them even more reluctant to honour error fares in the future.

He said the same thing at #375 already - 24hrs ago before anyone else reported any cancellation. So not sure what to make of it 🤷♂️

My flight is now gone from the LAN website and my seats are showing as vacant in Expert Flyer. Iberia still shows the flights. MAD-SCL (Iberia), SCL-LIM (LAN), LIM-MAD (Iberia). Booked via Priceline on 045 LAN ticket. All flights are still showing on Finnair

Last year I flew with Iberia in business class from Rome to SCL for some 730 euro (return). I think it was their Black Friday promotion from 2020.

The outgoing booking (MAD-GRU-SCL) is gone from both the Iberia and the LATAM sites, but the return (SCL-MAD direct) is still on IB. In fact, now that the outgoing is gone, I was able to "check in" and select a seat. Doubt it will stick (as I suspect LATAM canceled the actual ticket, and it was their ticket to begin with).
