Essentially you don't want to book a code share.

Just booked three of those earlier while the deal was still live. Now the question is where to credit the miles? The bookings are 045 Latam ticket stock, and weirdly none were Iberia stock, I presumed it would be Iberia because the logo showed IB and with Iberia flight numbers on the OTA sites... Would these credit to AAdvantage? Or at least Alaska?? Anyone knows?

Yea I didn't get in on the low price, but decided to book 2 of the 1k price nonstop each way with Amex points and Biz Plat (I think the 35% rebate should apply here). I'm not sure it was the best move, but didn't want to drop a couple thousand after hyping myself up of going back to patagonia.

"Go to gate" has a 24-hour cancellation policy, only by phone, and the fee to cancel within 24-hours seems to be $57 per passenger, if I understood it correctly....Thieves...

after 200+ booked tickets I managed to book 2 tickets on the same name with gotogate couple of days ago. Called immediately and was able to cancel for 50€ fee. Still happy, thought the money were gone completely 😂

Save your Latam boarding passes and mail them to Alaska Airlines. That's how I got credit for my Galapagos flights. Took nearly 6 weeks before the miles appeared in my account.

So bad that I missed it at the lowest price (I would have bought few of them). I can only see 1k prices now, still amazing and managed to get one directly with Iberia. Iberia is quite good honouring this fares, I recently flew the milan-bogota deal (around Ł450) that appeared in March 2020 (after many changes due to COVID).

We might end up losing a bunch of money on this one, and a refundable fare, too, I think these thieves charge cancellation fees even when the airline cancels....cheez...
