Goal: Maximum PQF per RT flight in a single day or just simply max PQF per day on multiple itineraries
Departure Airport: SFO
Miles (PQF/PQP/BIS, choose one) Needed: 23 PQP
Maximum Budget: <$1500 or <$60 per segment
Available Travel Dates: Any available
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: No metal requirement / Codeshares okay
Route(s) You've Already Searched: SFO - DEN, SFO - PHX
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? No
Book two one-way tickets and hope to turn into six segments. It is risky, but you have to take a chance. After flying SFO-DEN, try to change to DEN-IAH-AUS; for return, standby for earlier AUS-IAH, at IAH, try to add a stop at DEN. The cost is $126 per direction; there are midweek dates in early December. For SDC, if an option is not provided on App, ask a customer service agent at airport, just saying that you want to meet a friend at IAH/DEN. Good luck.

Hey thanks! This might work. I just need to map out possible return flights so that I don't get stuck on one of the jump points...

Quick Question. If you book a non-stop and do a SDC for a flight with connections do you get the PQF based on the SDC flight?

Yes. You get PQFs for all the UA/UAX flights you fly.

AC has some insane routings for SFO - eastern Canada that could be useful- they're just a pain to optimize. e.g., this 8-segment SFO-YQX routing:
Spoiler

Just remember that -BA fares don't earn PQF.

Departure Airport: EWR
Miles (PQF/PQP/BIS, choose one) Needed: 12 PQF
Maximum Budget: $1000
Available Travel Dates: December 16-18
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: UA
Route(s) You've Already Searched: Cross-country
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? No

I have the PQPs covered since I did some upgrades on long haul flights but I need at least 12 PQFs to make 1K. I'm pretty sure I'll need to stay overnight somewhere so I am willing to start this journey on Friday and hopefully be back home on Sunday. I'd like to start in EWR and end in EWR.
I've tried mapping this out in Google Flights but there's a max 6 flights in the itinerary. Would it be better to call UA directly to set this up so I have every flight on a single itinerary? Or am I going to have to setup two one-way itineraries.
Thanks for any route tips and help.

Thank you DELee ! This is what I ended up doing. SFO - LAX - LAS - LAX - SFO - LAX - SFO - LAX - SFO. Unfortunately, my first flight into LAX was delayed so I missed my connection and two PQFs and a nightmare getting re-ticketed with United. So I have another SFO - LAX - SFO booked for early Dec.

$334 for IAH-MCO-IAD-ORD-CLE-IAH. This can almost certainly be optimized more.

Did you ask for originating routing credit by calling MileagePlus? United messed up your journey.

Well, after a couple years of sitting in small, upright chairs at my house, I find myself within striking distance of 1K! TIA.
Departure Airport: SEA
Miles (PQF/PQP/BIS, choose one) Needed: 8 PQF
Maximum Budget: Can I do this under $700
Available Travel Dates: December 9,12,13,14,16 (I know); no overnights and best if back by 8 if multiple days
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: Yes, but wouldn't mind UA to use travel credit

Route(s) You've Already Searched: Random west coast: FAT,RNO,LAS, etc.
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? Yes

Are the travel credits fairly large or small denominations that would cover only parts of flights?

Hi all,
Would love to get your feedback on the needed PQP/PQF to achieve 1K.

Departure Airport: TLV/EWR
Miles (PQF/PQP/BIS, choose one) ~3000 PQP + 9 PQF
Maximum Budget: As cheap as possible
Available Travel Dates: Before the end of the year
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: SA airlines

I'm supposed to visit NYC next week, booked a cheap coach ticket from TLV to EWR. This will put me in about 10,500 PQP and 27 PQF
I can try to upgrade to Polaris, but this will still be 9 PQF short of the goal.
During my visit to NYC, I can spare a day for a mileage run, alternatively, I can have another run later in December from TLV to Greece, Turkey, and beyond.
Any thoughts?

If do not mind partying overnight in Vegas, you can book SEA-LAS, LAS-SAN-LAS, LAS-SEA in two separate roundtrip tickets. The total is $456.
LAS-SAN: $195: https://www.google.com/travel/flight...J4d3RwZ0ISAggB
SEA_LAS: $261: https://www.google.com/travel/flight...hESHl3RT0SAggB
Good luck.

What are the exact dates that you can do MRs? There are many options in early December (before Dec. 15). You definitely need "buyup" to Polaris to achieve the PQP part of the 1K requirement. You need to fly out of LGA to nearby airports to maximize the PQFs (remember that you need to purchase regular economy tickets to get PQFs, not the basic economy). Good luck.
