You already covered the testing requirements for your outbound and inbound travel. As for the rest, your only facemask requirement is while travelling with IB (on the plane) and at MAD. Otherwise normalcy is back.

Starting this trip this weekend, can anyone point me to current covid expectations?
I know I need a negative pcr 48 hours prior to get in, anything needed for departure? Im flying CMN-MAD-LHR (overnight) - MIA and would prefer to do my Antigen in LHR rather than in CMN but its a little unclear on transiting MAD without a test.
Thanks!

Since you only need to test to board your LHR-MIA flight, you can bring a proctored antigen test (e.g., eMed/Binax) with you and take it at your convenience during your overnight. You can order from eMed or several other suppliers. If you order from eMed, it's $150 for six tests and they overnight it to you. Other merchants sell smaller quantities, but at a higher per-test cost. I always bring two, just in case the first test is inconclusive.

Just completed my flights in first. A BIG thanks to the OP for posting it. Had booked tickets for our family of 4 - from CMN to ORD (stopover of 10 days), then ORD to MIA (Stopover of 3 days) and then back. Due to schedule change of the CMN-MAD flight, which made a mis-connect in MAD to catch the LHR flight - we were able to drop the CMN-MAD-LHR leg and begin our trip in LHR. This was a HUGE deal for us and made life easier - as UK is now completely open to travel, comparable to pre-covid time.
We flew in BA F (787) from LHR to ORD. The flight was AA coded, while on the return from MIA to LHR we flew AA F (777). We loved the flagship checkin in Miami, which allowed us to bypass a long queue for security. The checkin agent escorts you via a secret door to the front of the queue.
In all, it was an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS trip - thanks once again to the OP and Flyertalk for making it possible. An only regret - we just booked one

Yes, https://saleslink.aa.com/en-US/docum...ule_Change.pdf
To ensure the policy is active you can go from https://saleslink.aa.com/en-US/#/AgencyRefer
Be sure that you have more than 1 hour schedule change to claim your benefit (does not matter if earlier or later).

For those of you who are doing your antigen test for US entry at LHR, was there any pushback at check-in at CMN? They asked me for my test at check in and since I had done it that morning had the results and we’re able to issue my LHR-MIA boarding pass but just wondering if there have been any issues if you don’t have it.

Just did CMN-MAD-LHR-MIA yesterday. PCR (checked at LHR T5, 3 times at Madrid, and in CMN ;0 ) for my positioning from London to CMN via MAD. You need Health Form to get to CMN as well, they collect it on the way to immigration. Plus your vaccine to show.
From CMN - nothing required until you hit LHR, no vaccine, PCR etc. Free to go, only Mask on Iberia until you land at Heathrow. No early boarding pass beyond LHR when travelling from CMN
My LHR- MIA was next day, so did Antigen at LHR T5 Arrivals, was Ł39. Cheaper at Sofitel for HALO, but just they closed for the day earlier - was not suitable for me.
PCR test to CMN can be expensive, so for everyone to decide where you can get one cheap or free Mine was free.
I want to thank EVERYONE here for help, advice and support

Just some data points:
1) I was not able to add a stopover in MAD without HIP charge after flying everything except MAD-CMN. The add fare was USD 4.2K in both cases (IB and AA marketed flights MAD-CMN). I did not really need it but wanted to check how pricing works after departure with everything else flown.
2) Be sure to track your bags. I was lazy to check with another desk at LHR CCR and got my bags not delivered to MAD in the end. MIA-JFK was delayed due to weather and BA offloaded my bags from JFK-LHR (due to incoming flight delay) and then it is not clear who messed things up but the bags stuck in JFK...

Morocco PCR Test No Longer Required
The government announced on Tuesday it would no longer require passengers to present PCR tests to access the Moroccan territory.
The Government specified in a statement that it will apply this decision immediately after its publication, following the improvement of the epidemiological situation nationwide.

I don't understand this.
- Where did the "won't find any A class when searching for a oneway" information come from?
- Are you contacting AA by phone, in-app chat, or Twitter DM?
- Are you an EXP or CK?
- Do you have any information on who these "specialists" are? If you called, did the agent put you on hold to consult with them or did the agent transfer you to them?
- Contact was via phone; I had previously tried the in-app chat, but they couldn't do anything as they apparently (so they said) be able to collect the charge for taking over a ticket issued by a travel agency (as they can't take any payments in the App - so I was advised)
- No status with AA
- Way to many agents told me that there is no A class available, despite expertflyer clearly showing A class; as I couldn't mention expertflyer, I checked on the AA website and figured within a minute, that searches for oneways never return an A fare but only F, hence I asked an agent on what he is searching and it turned out that he (and others) apparently just put in MIA-CMN (with stops) into their system - which then said there is no A class available
It went as far as an agent saying "if you see A class, put a booking on hold online so that I can take a look at it" - but when I suggested to so on MIA to LHR and return, the agent said this wouldn't help... - The specialists from my understanding are some form of Level 2 agents which have less limitations in their system access; I was never connected to any of those but rather was on hold for extended periods of time...
Hope this makes it more clear
